Metalex offers spot welded overlap tubes in a range of sizes and perforation patterns. In the filtration industry the spot welded tube is mainly used as an outer shell or jacket for the filter housing. The process begins with raw coil that is perforated and cut to the blank size required, then rolled and spot welded per the customer’s specifications.
