Metalex offers straight seam tack welded tubes in a range of sizes and perforation patterns.
These tubes are mainly used in lower pressure applications where there may be sizing constraints that do not allow for a spiral or spot welded overlap tube to be used. The process begins with raw coil that is perforated and cut to the blank size required, then rolled and spot welded with no overlap per the customers requirements.
